Design for Manufacturing & UX Development

Project at Pentagram Design
Industrial design of a connected cryptocurrency wallet for children.
Full case study: ︎︎︎

Working closely with Pigzbe’s founder, the industrial design team’s goal was to create a compact product reminiscent of a credit card, that would feel loveable for children, and robust enough to be handled by them.
Along with a full development stream to bring the product to mass production, the team also worked a complete user flow and UI principles utilising the device’s two buttons, and LED matrix - ensuring the device is easily operated by children.
Along with the other designer on the project, I was responsible for the entire plastic design for prototyping and specification for injection moulding, and collaborating on a robust UX/UI flow development.
